'Tis The Season

by MARY CATHERINE GASTON

Credit card offers, utility bills, unsolicited coupons and catalogs. If this is what typically fills your mailbox, you may have become understandably unexcited about the routine trip to the end of the driveway or the local post office. But watch your mail carefully this month, as the College of Agriculture aims to give you a brand new reason to look forward to sorting through that pile.

As it was throughout the eleven-year history of Ag Illustrated, our goal is to make the college’s new magazine, The Season, worth your trip to the mailbox. Filled with news, features, alumni updates and photos from within the college, The Season will be mailed free of charge to Auburn ag alumni and friends twice a year, in the fall and spring. Not a College of Agriculture grad? To be sure your name is on our mailing list, send an email to theseason@auburn.edu with your name and mailing address included.

Look for the first issue of The Season to arrive in your mail later this month. For now, enjoy a sneak peek at one of this issue’s features in this interview of Cullman native Kayla Fromhold, a transfer student majoring in food science.
