Fall 2015 enrollment new record high

The final numbers are in, confirming that fall semester 2015 enrollment in the College of Agriculture hit an all-time high of 1,430 students. That total—which includes the most undergraduates ever, at 1,128, and a record 302 graduate students—is an increase of 75 students over fall 2014. The college’s Agricultural Business and Economics, Poultry Science and Biosystems Engineering degree programs also have the most students ever.

According to data compiled by Auburn’s Office of Institutional Research, female students outnumber male students in the college this semester, 51.4 percent to 48.6 percent. That continues a trend that began in 2012.

In other numbers, for the 2015-16 academic year, 274 College of Agriculture students received 463 individual scholarships, for a record grand total of $805,999. The college will award an additional $75,000 in study abroad scholarships this year.
