AGRI 4970 Goodness of Fit Career Planning Course to be offered Spring 2023

This course will prepare students to make more informed job/career decisions and strategies. You will participate in a comprehensive assessment to identify your motivated abilities. You will learn how to match your talents to your chosen job fields. Participants will be guided in developing both short and long term goals, gain interviewing skills, and more. The course is taught by Mr. Sam Johnson, Retired Exxon Mobil Executive on Thursdays from 12:30 pm -1:45 pm. The CRN is 14618

Chicago Golf Club seeking Summer Interns

Established in 1892, Chicago GC was the first 18-hole golf course in North America as well as a founding member of the USGA. Designed by C.B. Macdonald and renovated by Seth Raynor. Chicago Golf Club is home to unique and legendary architectural characteristics, such as classic template holes. The course sits on 220 acres of wide open land with about 80 of those being “low maintenance” fescues. CGC is located in Wheaton, IL approximately 25 miles West of Downtown Chicago. Chicago Golf Club is currently rated #13 on Golf Digest’s Top 100 list and #19 on Golf.com’s world ranking. They  are currently hiring Interns and AIT’s for the 2023 season. Winged Foot Golf Club Internship Opportunity

Winged Foot Golf Club is a 36-hole private golf club located North of New York City, designed by A.W. Tillinghast, and opened in 1923. Winged Foot has hosted numerous major championships on both of its Top 100 golf courses (East and West). Most recently, Winged Foot Golf Club hosted its 6th U.S. Open Championship in September of 2020, and is scheduled to host the 2028
U.S. Open Championship.Interns will be mowing/rolling playing surfaces, hand watering, assisting in liquid and granular chemical applications, and be involved in many small projects, including irrigation and sod work.
