Major impact

The National Poultry Technology Center was created seven years ago to help Alabama poultry growers operate more efficiently. Since 2007, its efforts have led to an annual impact to the state’s economy of almost $30 million. The center, affiliated with Auburn University’s College of Agriculture, has maintained its goal to provide unbiased engineering and economic evaluation to poultry growers and has had lasting effects on the cash flow and success of poultry growers in Alabama and beyond. Here’s a look at the statistics.
