Alabama Cooperative Extension System
The College of Agriculture works closely with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, the primary outreach organization for the land-grant functions of Auburn and Alabama A&M universities. ACES is an organization of educators who work with producers, businesspeople and communities to apply our agricultural research in practical, productive ways.
ACES operates 67 county offices to offer educational programs to meet the needs and interests of each local area. The system also offers 54 videoconference sites throughout the state, enabling producers and communities to participate in educational and certification programs close to home. ACES also offers extensive online articles, publications and blogs written by agricultural specialists and researchers.
