An award-winning essay by Auburn University biosystems engineering senior Ann Nunnelly appears in the January/February issue of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineer’s publication, Resource.
Nunnelly’s essay, “Sustainability as an issue of corporate social responsibility,” earned her first-place honors in the society’s 2015 Ag and Bio Ethics Essay Competition, which invites undergraduate and graduate students to write up to 1,500 words on an ethics topic that impacts people in the profession.
Auburn senior Richard Colley, also in the Department of Biosystems Engineering, won third place in the contest. His paper looked at the ethical considerations of hydraulic fracturing.
