More than 90,000 people attended the 2015 Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia, this year, with Auburn University’s College of Agriculture being one of 1,200 featured exhibitors.

This year’s new and improved AU exhibit featured hands-on games for visitors, including miniature gold, a fish casting game and an acorn-counting contest offering a genuine Toomer’s Oak clone as the grand prize.

The exhibit also featured timely presentations by experts from the College of Agriculture on turfgrass management, avian influenza and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, in agriculture.

The Sunbelt Ag Expo, known as “North America’s Premier Farm Show,” celebrated its 38th year this past October. The annual show features the latest in farming technology over a 100-acre exhibit area and a 600-acre working research farm.
