Since this is a virtual meeting, we ask that you:

  • Look presentable from head to chest
  • Turn your camera on at all times
  • Mute yourself when other people are speaking
  • Adjust the brightness of your room so we can see you clearly

WHAT QUESTIONS SHOULD I ASK?

  • When is the application deadline?
  • Could you tell me more about your research/facilities/labs?
  • Are students admitted in both the fall and the spring? What is unique about your program/research?
  • What are your admissions requirements?
  • What is the acceptance rate for this program?
  • Are graduate assistantships available?
  • What a typical day looks like for a Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant (GRA/GTA)

  • Are there active organizations specifically for graduate students?
  • What tests are required for admittance, and what are the average test scores for your program?
  • What is the post-graduation job acceptance rate for students in this program?
  • Is housing available for graduate students?
  • And more…
