Transfer Student Day on Ag Hill

Prospective transfer students and families are encouraged to attend one of our in-person open house events and learn more about the majors and opportunities in the College of Agriculture (COA). You will participate in a pop-in advising session with a COA advisor, sit in on a presentation about the College of Agriculture, and go on an Ag Hill tour with an Ag Ambassador.

Are you interested in seeing how our students get hands-on, real-world learning experiences? You will also have the option to tour one of our hands-on teaching facilities at the end of this event. These facilities are located on campus or within a 15-minute drive. These tour options include the Equestrian Performance Center, the Mosquito Lab, the Large Animal Teaching Hospital (Dairy Unit), and the Rane Culinary Science Center rooftop garden. You will have an option to select the facility you are interested in when you register!

Schedule:

• 11:00-12:30 pm: Check-In, Pop-In Advising, and Lunch
• 12:30-1:00 pm: Welcome/Presentation
• 1:00-1:45 pm: Student Panel/Questions
• 1:45-2:15 pm: Ag Hill Tour
• 2:15-3:30 pm: Hands-On Facility Tours (Optional)
