We want you.
We’re inviting alumni, industry partners and friends of the College of Agriculture to become honorary Ag Hill recruitment ambassadors by helping us connect with prospective students and introduce them to the world of educational opportunities available at Auburn in general, and in the College of Ag specifically.
How to T(Ag) a Future Tiger
It’s simple. If you know a high school or community college student who’ll graduate next year, just email his or her name, address, school name and T-shirt size to Brandon-Justice@auburn.edu. We’ll send the student an Auburn Ag recruitment package, complete with a cool T-shirt and loaded with information about our college’s majors, student clubs, study abroad opportunities and more.
What are today's students (and parents) looking for in a college?
Prestige and Value
Auburn offers both, consistently ranking among the nation’s best universities and regularly making Kiplinger’s “100 Best Values in Public Colleges” list, which means we deliver the best for less. Oh, and we award our students almost $1 million a year in scholarships, too.
We promote experiential learning — learning by doing. Through hands-on courses, field exercises, projects and internships, our students gain real-world skills that give them an edge in the job market. In some of our academic departments, the job-placement rates among new graduates are at or near 100%.
Our college promotes international engagement and an expanded worldview for students. The study abroad programs that are offered by our college are a great opportunity for students to be immersed in other cultures and to truly gain a better understanding of the global industry that agriculture is.
A Sense of Belonging
The Princeton Review has ranked Auburn the happiest college campus in the U.S. And according to informal surveys we’ve conducted, our students consider Ag Hill the happiest spot on the happiest campus.
