Team Award – Faculty,
A&P, and/or Staff
About the Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize a group/team that have made significant accomplishments and has had a positive impact on the success and trajectory of the college, department, center and/or station through the collaborative efforts of faculty, A&P and/or staff members in the College of Agriculture or Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station.
The majority of the team must be College of Agriculture and/or AAES employees (Faculty, A&P or Staff) and the team must have a minimum of 3 members. The team can consist of other employees from across the University, however, leadership for the team must be demonstrated by a College of Agriculture or AAES employe (faculty, A&P, or staff member).
The overriding factor in evaluating the nominated teams is the impact a team or project has had in the College, the University, or in the community.
Projects involving one or more of the primary mission areas for the college/AAES (research, teaching and extension/outreach) and/or support of the college/AAES are eligible for consideration for this award.
Award / PRESENTATION
Each member of the team will receive a certificate recognizing this accomplishment. Awarded annually.
Nominations may be made by any faculty or staff member in the College of Agriculture and may include self-nominations. The nomination should include the following:
- A letter of nomination which summarizes the impact the team or project has had in the College, the University, or in the community, in areas of research, teaching, and/or extension/outreach or in support of the College/AAES.
- A list of the team members and their institutional affiliation and a brief biographical description of each team member.
