The College of Agriculture invites students to take part in our Spring Find Your Career Week, March 6-10, 2017.

 

CAREER FAIR PREP SESSION
MONDAY, MARCH 6, 2017, 3:00 PM

Students are invited to attend our career prep session. Representatives from the Career Center and the College of Agriculture Student Services Office will be on hand to review student’s resumes and help prepare for the Career & Internship Fair. From dress attire to negotiating, we’ll be available to help! Handouts, resources, and samples will be available. The sessions will be held in 109 Comer Hall.

E-PORTFOLIO INFORMATION SESSION
TUESDAY, MARCH 7, 2017, 11:00 AM

Students are invited to come learn more the importance of an E-Portfolio. A represented from the E-Portfolio Project will be on hand to tell more about an E-portfolio and assist with the process of setting up an E-Portfolio. The session will be held in 109 Comer Hall. ETIQUETTE DINNER
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8, 2017, 6:00 PM

Students are invited to attend our Etiquette Dinner at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center. The dinner will be facilitated by a dining etiquette expert and will offer students and employers an opportunity to dine and network with each other as well as learn the do’s and don’t of proper dining etiquette. hanks in advance to our company sponsors: Alabama Farmers Cooperative, First South Farm Credit, Tyson Foods, and Keystone Foods. PERSONAL FINANCE WORKSHOP
THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 2017

Students are invited to attend a Personal Finance Workshop led by Mr. Boles Pegues, Executive Vice President and Board Director of River Bank & Trust. CAREER FAIR
THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 2017

The fair will provide the opportunity for students to learn more about specific employment positions and gives the students the opportunity to network and make contacts for current internship and future job searches.  The fair will take place at the Auburn University Alumni Center from 3:30 pm -5:00 pm. See what companies are attending by going click HERE.

ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS
 FRIDAY, MARCH 10, 2017

A few companies will be conducting on-campus interviews following the career fair. Students can sign up for an interview at the career fair on Thursday. All interviews will take place in the Career Center in Mary Martin Hall.


SUBMIT YOUR RESUME TO BE A PART OF THE EMPLOYER PORTFOLIO PACKET (OPTIONAL)
Submission Deadline: Thursday, March 2, 2017

Students are invited to submit their resumes to be included in the our employer portfolio packet. The portfolio packet will be given to employers upon their arrival to the career fair on March 9. To have your resume included in the packet you must have your submitted your resume for review to the Auburn University Career Center.  Resumes should be limited to one page. All resumes must be submitted to Handshake. Contact Megan Ross, Coordinator of Student Development & Programs with questions. We do encourage you to attend the Career Fair to follow up with employers and learn more about their career and internship opportunities.
