Describe yourself in one word.
What is the best advice you could give someone?
Believe in the goodness of mankind and treat everyone as equals.
Why did you choose your major?
I served as the Maryland Lamb and Wool Princess and enjoyed being a spokesperson for the sheep industry. I came to Auburn and discovered that I could continue to educate people about agriculture with a degree in Agricultural Communications.
What is an interesting fact about you?
I stayed in Taylor Swift’s old beach house in Stone Harbor, NJ.
If you could live anywhere at all, where would it be and why?
I would love to live in Morocco and experience all the culture and fabulous colors.
What is your favorite thing about Auburn University?
Knowing every third person walking down the concourse each day.
Who is your role model?
My mother Katharine Patterson is probably my biggest role model. She is a strong, sassy woman who has always believed in everything I have done. She taught me that kindness, compassion and a touch of stubbornness will help you succeed in life and be a positive influence on others.
What is something you want to accomplish in your lifetime?
I would like to make a difference in the world by raising awareness about hunger and sustainable agriculture.
Who is someone, dead or alive, that you want to meet? What would you ask them?
I would love to meet B.B. King. I don’t really have any questions for him. I just want to pinch his cheeks.
What is one thing you want to change about the world?
I would eliminate all hate, prejudice, racism and negativity.
What has been your fondest memory while attending Auburn?
Dancing around the sorority hall with my sisters to blow off steam from finals week.
