Research

Taylor's graduate research focused on information and resource preferences within the equine industry, with particular emphasis on how industry members seek, interact with, and prefer to access information. The project examined patterns in information-seeking behavior, including preferred communication channels, trusted sources, and the role of digital versus traditional media in equine education and decision-making. This research aimed to better understand how equine professionals, owners, and participants engage with educational content, Extension resources, and industry communications. Findings support the development of more effective, audience-centered outreach strategies and informed recommendations for designing accessible, relevant educational materials tailored to the needs of the equine industry.
