Professional Experience

Before coming to Auburn, I worked in habitat management for endangered, threatened, and rare speciesas a Conservation Biologist for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

Research

Through my work in Dr. Katelyn Lawson's lab, I have studied habitat suitability modeling and conservation prioritization for the 2025 Alabama State Wildlife Action Plan, which led to a series of Conservation Priority Area maps and wildlife corridors connecting them, which will help direct conservation in the state. Some other projects I have assisted with include invasion biology of exotic freshwater fish in Florida and how to use citizen science data to improve our understanding of biodiversity in the state.
