My research focuses on plant pathology, molecular plant–microbial interactions, plant disease resistance, and integrated plant disease management. In addition to research, I am committed to education, teaching, and student advising.

My research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying plant diseases, with particular emphasis on the role of the plant microbiome in host resistance. I am also actively involved in developing sustainable strategies for integrated plant health management.
