Short Bio

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Animal Sciences. My work focuses on soil carbon dynamics, greenhouse gas emissions, and nutrient cycling in pasture-based systems. I have experience with integrated crop–livestock systems, evaluating their effects on soil health, carbon fractions, and forage nutritive value compared to monoculture pastures and native ecosystems. I combine field experiments, laboratory analyses, and statistical approaches to better understand sustainable intensification in tropical and subtropical agroecosystems.
