Short Bio

Dr. Agostina Giacobino is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Auburn University Bee Center. She completed her PhD at the University of Cordoba in Argentina focused on risk factors linked to the presence and spread of Varroa destructor in managed honey bee colonies. She joined the Bee Center in January 2024, and is helping coordinate the U.S. National Colony Loss Survey and conducting field trials on alternative Varroa control methods.
