Dr. Adam Charles McGhee
Coordinator, Distance Education – College of Agriculture

Dr. Adam McGhee serves as the Distance Education Coordinator for Auburn University’s College of Agriculture, where he oversees online course design, program development, and faculty training to expand access to agricultural education. In addition to his work in distance learning, he leads the College’s drone education program within the Department of Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences, integrating UAV technology into teaching, research, and field applications.

Dr. McGhee holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and a Master of Agriculture in Environmental Science from Auburn University. His professional interests include online learning innovation, instructional design, and the use of emerging technologies to enhance student engagement and applied agricultural research.

He also enjoys outdoor activity, golf, and mountain biking, earning multiple Alabama State Championship titles. His diverse interests reflect a lifelong enthusiasm for technology, community involvement, and lifelong learning.
