Kelly Herman
Kelly, an environmental science major and problem-solver, wants to find solutions to some of our natural world’s problems.
What difference in the world can you make with a degree focusing on agriculture?
With my environmental science degree IÂ am hoping to change people’s views on conservation and sustainability and show them how dependent our society is on our environment. Not everything relating to the environment has to end on a negative note, and with my degree I plan on finding solutions to some our natural world’s problems.Â
What is your favorite place on Ag Hill?
My favorite place on Ag Hill is the lawn in front of Comer Hall, especially during the fall. With the leaves changing and the cool breeze, it’s the perfect place to study.Â
Describe yourself in three words.
I would describe myself as motivated, caring and loyal.Â
What are three things you would take to a deserted island?
If I were deserted on an island, I would bring my camera, a fishing pole and my German Shepherd Bruno.Â
What is your favorite memory of Auburn?
My favorite memory of Auburn is winning the 2013 Iron Bowl and rushing onto the field. I’ve never felt so much Auburn pride at one time, and it’s a feeling I will never forget!
