WHAT Andrew DOES NOW
As the Communications Director of the Birmingham Association of REALTORS®, my job is to lead and strategize new and exciting ways for reaching our membership of 3,000 plus real estate agents in the greater Alabama area and also be a “good example” of marketing to other association around the state and region. This includes web video series, podcast production, web site and mobile application strategy and deployment, social media marketing, and other mediums for digital public relations.
As a private consultant with my own company, I use these same tactics and work with small and large businesses here in Birmingham, Ala., on interactive content marketing and growing business relationships with customers new and old.
BEST AUBURN MEMORY
My favorite Auburn memory, aside from meeting and making wonderful memories with the girl who would by graduation be my wife, would be finally feeling like I was home and doing what I loved in the Ag Comm department. It was there, thanks to mentors like Katie Jackson and Don Mulvaney that I was able to focus in on Journalism and Communications and begin preparing myself for what would blossom into a fruitful career path. A second memory is my time and work as the digital media intern for the Auburn Alumni Association where I started the tradition of Facebook chatter during home games and took the #ALLIn hashtag viral with Alumni when they unveiled it over in athletics.
