GLOBAL FOOD SYSTEMS RESEARCH CONSORTIUM
Global Food Systems Research Consortium (GFSRC)
Recognizing the need for greater international collaboration in agricultural research, education, and service, faculty from six institutions (listed below) have met regularly to present ongoing research findings and to explore opportunities for collaborations in areas of mutual interest, including food safety, trade and food security. These activities have been fruitful and led to the formation of an academic consortium – Global Food Systems Research Consortium (GFSRC).
The purpose of the GFSRC website is to provide a platform for the six institutions to brainstorm on how to facilitate multi-institutional collaborations and external funding support. The website also serves as a database to store and maintain conference materials, post new funding opportunities and record deliverables that are results of successful collaborations.
