TIGER FRIDAYS ON AG HILL
Each Friday, September – November
If you haven’t visited the College of Agriculture, we’d love to have you as our guest! At one of our Tiger Fridays on Ag Hill, you’ll tour our academic and research facilities, meet faculty advisors and get to know the students, faculty and staff who will help make Auburn your home away from home. The Fridays before home football games, you can even tour the Jordan-Hare Stadium locker rooms!
Ag Roundup, hosted on Homecoming Saturday each year, features a variety of Alabama-produced foods – all you can eat for just $5. In addition, the event includes educational displays, children’s activities and a visit from the AU Pep Band. A silent auction raises funds for College of Agriculture scholarships.
TRANSFER STUDENT DAY
Learn more about the transfer path to the College of Agriculture. Transfer Student Day includes a meeting with your faculty adviser, sessions on scholarships and the transfer process, personalized Ag Hill tours and a complimentary lunch. Register today.
AG DISCOVERY ADVENTURE DAY
This free event, hosted by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station and the College of Agriculture, offers fun and interesting hands-on activities and presentations that showcase agricultural technology and illustrate the key role agriculture plays in our lives. Events include a livestock exhibit, demonstration of drone usage in agriculture, scavenger hunts, a corn maze and more. No registration is necessary.
DIG LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE: DEDICATION, INNOVATION AND GROWTH
This new leadership conference at Auburn held by the College of Agriculture Ambassadors is a great opportunity for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. Auburn alumni, professors and industry leaders will help students develop leadership and professional skills that will further their success in and out of the classroom. Rod Bramblett, the voice of the Auburn Tigers, is the conference’s keynote speaker. Students will also tour of one of the many amazing facilities Auburn students use on campus. The cost of the conference is $25 and includes a T-shirt, lunch and on-campus transportation. Register today.
This program and luncheon reception celebrates the academic achievements of talented minority high school students with an interest in science, including agricultural and environmental science. Ag Elite includes a departmental browse, alumni and student speakers, lunch with faculty representatives and scholarship information. One outstanding recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship award. Submit your online application today. The last day to register is November 21.
