Olivia Reid - Animal Sciences/pre-vet
Olivia Reid is a senior majoring in animal sciences/pre-vet. In her research, she uses immunostaining paired with fluorescent microscopy to observe the patterns of disorganization in the adrenal glands of mice with Notch intracellular domain overexpression. Her findings could help veterinarians know how to treat adrenal diseases in animals more effectively. Reid says College of Agriculture professors and advisors prepared her to work in a research lab by encouraging her to step outside her comfort zone and take risks in order to be successful.
