What made you choose a degree in agriculture?
As a native of Headland, Alabama, I have been in or around agriculture my whole life. I have always felt that I would pursue a career path in agriculture and realize that obtaining a degree in ag education will enable me to contribute to this vital industry. With the influential help from family, friends and my hometown ag teacher I am pursuing a career in a field that I love. I look forward to teaching my future students about this industry and will hopefully lead them to a future career in agriculture.
Do you recommend students get an on-campus job? Why?
As a current student worker on campus, I highly recommend that students try to get a job on campus. I work with a great group of people. They are very flexible and allow me to work around my school schedule. They always remind me that academics come first, and then work. I am truly blessed to have such a great job and work with such a wonderful group of people.
