Medicinal Plant Garden Talk and Tour

May 19, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

The Auburn University Medicinal Plant Garden continues to host free tours every third Thursday of the month, April-October. Join us on Thursday, May 19, 5-6:30 p.m. Free and open to everyone, no registration required. We will begin with a talk by Dr. Charles Ray, who will tell us about an upcoming pollinator monitoring project that will involve the AU Medicinal Plant Garden … and might involve you too! We will then move to our plants for sale, then a walk and talk through the garden. For garden regulars, you will see some changes. We continue to make the garden more accessible to the public, thanks to garden volunteers and a big push by Dr. Adam Newby’s horticulture class. We will have tents for shade and chairs for rest. Please bring your own water. The weather is magnificent and the garden is just starting to kick into warm season. Join us!
