As a student in the College of Agriculture, you are assigned an advisor from your academic department or program. To find out who your advisor is, log in to Tiger i, click on Student Main Menu, then click on Student Records and finally on View Student Information. Your assigned advisor will be listed. Should you have any questions about your Advisor Assignment please contact the department for more information. Your advisor is a valuable resource for you during your time at Auburn University. In addition to providing you with general advice, your advisor can help you register for courses, develop a plan of study for future courses, and locate and prepare for internships, part-time work and career opportunities.
Food Science and Poultry Science:
You must see your advisor before registering for classes. Your advisor will provide you with an alternate PIN so that you can register for courses.
Some departments have a special advising process to be followed and will notify you about the process by e-mail. Please pay attention to the email and follow this process because people you need to see to register may be available only during certain times.
Set up a time to see your advisor during advising week. See your advisor as soon as possible to find the best time for you and him/her to meet.
