Go Reach Opportunities Within Agriculture!
GROW Ag is a one-day after-school camp introducing third- through fifth-graders to agriculture and the many fascinating jobs associated with it. The camp will be offered:
APRIL 4 FOR THIRD-GRADE STUDENTS,
APRIL 5 FOR FOURTH-GRADERS,
APRIL 6 FOR FIFTH-GRADERS.
Each camp will focus on specific sectors of the agricultural industry, including:
POULTRY SCIENCE & HORTICULTURE ON APRIL 4;
ANIMAL SCIENCES, FISHERIES, AQUACULTURE & AQUATIC SCIENCES; & CROP, SOIL & ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES ON APRIL 5;
FOOD SCIENCE , BIOSYSTEMS ENGINEERING AND AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS & ECONOMICS ON APRIL 6.
4:15-4:40 pm – Registration/Snacks at Comer Hall
4:50-6:00 pm – Camp Sessions
6:00 pm – Parents’ Arrival at Comer Hall
6:10-6:30 pm – Graduation Ceremony at Comer Hall
Space is limited to 30 students per camp, so register early at agriculture.auburn.edu/grow. The $25-per-student registration fee includes snacks and a GROW Ag T-shirt.
