Applied Economics

Our Ph.D. program in applied economics includes faculty from our Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology as well as the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences and the College of Liberal Arts’ Department of Economics. Areas of concentration include natural resource and environmental economics, applied production economics, international economics and applied market analysis. The program also offers a minor in statistics. The program include an oral exam in your area of specialization, a research and dissertation project and oral dissertation defense.
